Delta Metrics

Delta Metrics had built an incredibly capable platform—offering powerful geospatial analytics and predictive modeling tools for environmental monitoring. But the UI made those tools feel inaccessible. It was dense, technical, and required too much prior knowledge. They didn’t need to lose complexity—they just needed to surface it in the right way.

We began with a comprehensive UX audit, then collaborated closely with their internal product team to map out cleaner flows and simplified interactions. Layers, toggles, and filtering systems were rebuilt to feel more intuitive without dumbing anything down. We also introduced visual affordances—clear sectioning, iconography, and language—to guide users more naturally through the platform.

On the visual side, we introduced a softer, more natural visual style while still keeping things precise. The challenge was to retain scientific credibility while removing the cognitive load of the interface.

The result was a platform that invited users in instead of pushing them away—making it easier for more people to interact with critical geospatial data and act on it confidently.
